Weekly video

Here is the video from last week's activities. Not much exciting - we did go to an orchard and see the goats. I think the goats liked Grant's feet more than Grant like the goats. Also, this week Grant has really started trying to play with the dogs - which I don't know that Buster and Bugsy are too excited about it.

Is it that time already???

Is it time for college football already? Where has the time gone?

One of the highlights of the day was the Gator game. The Florida Gators beat Hawaii 56-10.

Go Gators!!

Why does my head hurt?

Now I'm one of those lucky people who only get headaches every now and then...like twice a year....but yesterday I just couldn't get rid of my headache. Here is what I think was causing it...

One would think we started our own Cricket breeding farm due to the number of crickets in our house....they are driving me insane! I was o'k with the crickets when they were in the garage and the basement (two places I don't spend too much time in). But now they are on the stairs, in the kitchen and even upstairs. It is all out war now! Insect killer on the lawn and bug spray around the outside of the house and by the doors.....I think there is now a toxic cloud over our house.

Second possibility of the headache....my beloved Bugsy. He seems to be having a hard time adjusting to the new house and Grant taking up more of my attention. So to show his frustration he has started marking his spot all over the house. I hoped it was maybe a UTI (a medical reason for this crazy behavior). But after a trip to the vet we discovered it was a behavioral problem. Great!

Finally yesterday I came across this mess.....I wonder what little hands could have pull the dirt out of this flower pot?

Today has been a much better day - no crickets found today, only one dog issue this morning and the dirt is still in the flower pot.

Well it is official now - we are a 100% pacifier free house! Three weeks running now - so this bag went in the trash this morning. Yeah Grant!!!!

Weekly Update

This week is all about the new shirts. Grant got a bunch of new shirts this past week as he continues to grow like a weed. We took advantage of all the summer clearance sales and picked up some more shirts. Some are a little big but I know he will soon grow into them. So here is our "sharp dressed man".

Tooth tally = 10 (front four upper and lower plus two upper molars).

Olympic Spirit

We have Olympic Spirit - yes we do...
We have spirit....how 'bout you????

Or something along those lines - I wasn't a cheerleader.

In honor of the Olympics we got Grant these PJs. It just helps reinforce our future plans of our own Michael Phelps....little does Grant know but all those times in the kiddy pool are not really for fun...they are serious workouts. Ha!

Help!

We are in the process of trying to find a convertible car seat....and there are 10 million options. Which one to choose. Any suggestions/tips? THANKS!!

PJ Time

Last night I realized Grant really needed new pajamas. During the night these ones ride up to his knees - making him look like he is wearing capri pants.

So today I went out in search of 18 month pajamas....even though the little guy is only 10 months old.....here is what I found.

Teeth

So for about 4 months now Grant has been holding steady with 2 lower teeth...then about 3 weeks ago he started teething again. The new count is 5 teeth with two more on the way. He has three lower teeth and two upper teeth and his front two teeth are starting to come in. Oh how it has been a fun couple of weeks!
