The other day we took some photos of Grant in his red plaid shirt....we thought he looked so cute in it.

Grant loves to sit in his chair and pull things out of his toy basket.

First Cracker

Yesterday Grant tried his first "finger" food...a cracker. He was not too crazy about it.

Yeah they are for the pool but they fit and that is all that matters.

Growing up....

Our little guy is growing up so fast! Last night he grabbed his bottle and put it in his mouth all by himself. That was the first time. It is funny to see the little things that make him laugh - he loves watching the dogs come down the stairs....it makes him laugh everytime. Today the got the biggest kick out of playing with a plastic cup.

Lazy Saturday Afternoon

It has been raining here for a couple of days so we just spent the day hanging out at the house. In the video Grant is demonstrating his roll over moves. He has mastered the roll over - and sometimes even "log" rolls across the room. He is also quite a kicker.

Earthquake....in the midwest??

We are in the process of trying to get Grant to sleep all night on a consistant basis...and there have been may early morning crying sessions...this morning (at 3:45am) was one of those times. I was in bed waiting for him to stop crying so I could go back to sleep when my bed started to move ever so slightly. It thought it was Bugsy but turns out it was the earthquake that happened in Illinois. I thought for a minute it must be a tornado but then realized it wasn't and thought maybe I was going crazy due to lack of sleep. Finally it all made sense this morning when I saw the news....and finally Grant fell back asleep at 5am

Lots of things to do today for a busy bee....

Here are some things we did today.....

We had to make sure Buster and Bugsy got a little LOVE today.

We definitely had to sit up today....we are all about sitting up like a big boy.

Finally we had to play with our new favorite toy....the pampers coupon. Who knew a coupon could be so entertaining?

6 Months

Yesterday was Grant's 6 month appointment (he was actually 6months & 12 days old).

Weight 19.58 (78%)
Height 27.56 in (79%)
Head 19.49 in (>97%)

He continues to grow. We hope his body will catch up with his head soon. :-)

Jump....Jump.....Jumperoo

The other day we got out Grant's jumperoo....I'm not sure he loves it yet but it keeps him entertained for a few minutes....which also keeps Nate and I entertained as it is fun to watch him spin around and try to jump.
